Canadian Forces Joint Headquarters

The CFJHQ forms the deployable element of the Canadian Expeditionary Force Command (CEFCOM) Headquarters based in Ottawa. The CFJHQ is a lodger unit of CFB Kingston. Its mission is to provide the Commander of CEFCOM with a joint high-readiness rapidly deployable operational-level integrated command-and-control capability for assigned tasks in order to achieve CF stated military objectives.

The CFJHQ consists of 50-strong deployable core staff that can deliver the appropriate level of command and control to any new international CF operation. The CFJHQ is responsible for Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART), Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations (NEOs), Theatre Activation Team (TAT) and Op Nijmegen.

A truly joint organization designed to work at the operational level with expertise in Navy, Army and Air Force operations, the CFJHQ greatly enchains CF interoperability and provides the CF with significant high readiness operational command-and-control capability.
